Have you went grocery shopping and then forgotten to take something out of your car?
Well, I have.

I was sitting there in my "office" reading some ads from the local grocery store. I see an add for the Diet Lipton Green Tea. I think to myself, "Damn. I'm sure I bought some of that stuff about a month ago. I wonder were it is."
So I get done with my "paperwork" and start looking for the case of Green Tea. It turns out that I did buy a case of that stuff about a month ago, and it also turns out it has been riding in my car that whole time!
I'm sure glad it wasn't something that could have spoiled!

That Lipton Green Tea has probably seen more scary things in a month in your car than I've seen in a lifetime.

I've been riding to work lately, so the Green tea should be Emotionally stable.
Tough I only have 3 bottles at home now. :sad

Gallon of Ice Cream in the extended cab of my truck.....only there for about 24 hours.
Luckily it was winter and it was like 20 degrees or below for those 24 hours."And don't go home, and don't go to eat, and don't play with yourself. It wouldn't look nice on my highway", Buford T. Justice

A case of soda! Sadly, it was not salvageable - the heat caused the cans to extend and soda leaked every where. Talk about mess!

I left a can of Coke in the car once during the summer and didn't realize it until I got into the car and found a lot of brown sticky stuff all over the place and an empty, distorted can. It was a mess to clean up, I'm just glad it didn't explode while I was driving.

not from the grocery, but when I was about 16, I took a girl on a romantic picinc date, had grapes, cheese, etc....WELL, about 2 months later, I was pulled over for something dumb, officer asked if he could search the car, (16yr old kid with a red camaro, OF COURSE you can search sir) and what should he find in the trunk, but the playmate cooler, complete with fermented grapes. Almost got me a minor in possesion based on smell, till he looked inside the cooler. He laughed his ARSE off
500 fights, that's the number I figured when I was a kid. 500 street fights and you could consider yourself a legitimate tough guy. You need them for experience. To develop leather skin. So I got started. Of course along the way you stop thinking about being tough and all that. It stops being the point. You get past the silliness of it all. But then, after, you realize that's what you are.

nsb I'm surprised with the Iowa heat the last month or so, your tea didn't explode in that black mustang, but the tinted windows probably kept it cool.

You mean my illegally tinted windows?

The tea was safely stored in my trunk.

Just wondering, how can you forget a whole case of something? Thats kind of a big thing to forget.

More important than forgetting a case of something...what self-respecting guy drinks green tea!!!

The case 'o tea slid under my sleeping bag that I keep in the trunk. Why I keep a sleeping bag in my trunk beats me. It's not like drive that car in the winter!
Green tea gives a break to the plain old water routine!
That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
