Two Questions.
1. What do you like to do on your off days?
2. What do you usually end up doing on your off days?

I get one off day. I like to stay away from work. Usually like to hang out with some friends and do something fun. Everyone needs a break.
Although, I got snagged into work today. We got a body recovery going on and I've got some stuff to do related to that.

I would like to spend them hunting or spending more time on the water.
Mostly I do the lawn maintenance business.
On weekends off, I just like to hang around the house, go out with friends, or boating / go to the sandbar on the river when I can.*************************"It wouldn't take much for me to up and run...to another life somewhere in the sun."

I will confess that about one off day every couple weeks, I love to sleep in late, get up, eat something unhealthy in front of the TV, then nap until dinnertime.

But on other days, I do errands like the dry cleaners, laundry, the store, maybe buy some new DVDs or books, hang out with friends, etc.
It depends on the shift I'm assigned to as well...when I'm on dayshift, I don't try to cram as much in because I have every evening off anyway. I do the cramming thing on swings. On graves, it's pretty much being lazy on days off because I'm doing errands, etc., during the week during the daytime."If anything worthwhile comes of this tragedy, it should be the realization by every citizen that often the only thing that stands between them and losing everything they hold dear... is the man wearing a badge." -- Ronald Reagan, in the wake of the deaths of 4 CHP troopers in the Newhall Incident, 1970

With four kids I can't afford to have days off. But when I do manage to get one I usually spend time with them and relax.
Wise men stand behind me, brave men stand beside me, but only fools stand against me.
The force that propels you to prevail when you are put to a test of survival will be a mindset that refuses to accept nothing but winning.
Too often, we lose sight of life's simple pleasures. Remember, when someone annoys you it takes 42 muscles in your face to frown, BUT, it only takes 4 muscles to reach out and bitch slap that motherf*cker upside the head.

I like to kick back, read, and just relax with friends. What I wind up doing is errands and playing on LEF.

What I would like to think of myself doing on my days off is….relaxing and spending plenty of time with my boyfriend before he goes off for military training.
What I end up doing is…helping my daddy on his horse farm, I really don’t mind helping….he has a bad back.*A GIRL COP*

I like to golf, shoot, go sailing.....
I usually end up on the golf course once a week. I shoot every week. That is not something I'm gonna skip. I get on the water a couple of times a year. Now add in kids sports, side jobs, and the house.......

Right now during training I get 3 days off one week and 4 the next...alternating. One day I just lounge around and sleep. My kids are in school...so i either shop or hit a movie with a friend. I do get my house clean from top to bottom on one day too. One day is laundry also.
What I would like to do is take a mini 3 or 4 day vacation up to the Monterey or a mini cruise.**********************

I like to go motorcycle riding, running, catch up on sleep, buy something at Lowes.
I get 3 off days per week, no kids, so after I cut the grass and do some chores, I usually run for 30 minutes, then play on LEF until I say, "where did my off days go"?

What I would like to do is go on day trips with the wife, catch up on sleep, get errands done, etc. I have Sat and Sun of from my regular job but no days off from my part time job (delivering newspapers).
What usually happens is I catch up on sleep, hang out on the computer with the wife, and wonder where the weekend went. (We have separate computers.) I'm a terrible procrastinator. Or a good one, how ever you look at it.

Right now I work 12 hour days, six days a week. On my one day off I have to work on my pickup, because it's not running (and won't be for a few more weeks, at least).

What I like to do:
Spend time in the mountains: Backpacking, hiking, climbing, skiing, etc.
What I end up doing:
Some combination of the above-listed activities mixed in with plenty of yard work, household chores, and other mind numbing BS.

I work 7 out of 14 days. So one week I work 5 days, the next week I work 2. I spend a day or two chilliin, and the rest of the time mowing the yard, doing laundry, and traveling when I can, which is often. Single with no responsibilities but my dog!
