Would someone who has 5 lbs of boudin in the freezer, just made a couple of pounds of homemade tasso yesterday, knows how to make a roux, owns a 60 quart crawfish pot that is used frequently, knows how to bowfish and rod fish for redfish,can find Convent, LA without a map, hasn't missed mardi gras in about 10 years, and has ridden a float in Ceasar twice be a bit closer to honorary?

"Crawfish are put in boiling water while still alive, which kills them instantly, and their tails curl up under their bodies. If they have already died, however, their tails will not curl, and they are called straight-tails. Since you don't know if they died ten minutes before cooking or two weeks before, it is best not to eat the ones that were alive when they were dropped into the boil.
