Pick'emup truck
Background:
I just got off the phone with Cabela's about interviewing for a job in their distribution center. The position I applied for is basically a mapper in the warehouse, I'll be finding spots for products until they are taken to the store or sold to customers right from the warehouse. If I get the position I'll be working 4 days a week, 10 hours each day (yes that means I probably won't be online as much ), the pay is $10/hr friggin sweet in my book!
I'm wanting to buy a pick'em up truck when I can afford one. I hate trying to get out of cars that sit low to the ground, pain in the ass when you're almost 6'0 or taller to me. Any ideas? I'm not really worried about what brand it is, I could careless about that. I did find one I like the look of, but it'll be a cold day in hell before I can ever afford it.http://images.businessweek.com/ss/06...s/source/9.htm
Or I might get lucky and be able to afford it.

bek, why can't i scroll east and west to see the whole pic?
but you know, that's not classified as a truck right... that's more like a Tonka Toy... real Hummers don't have low profile tires...-=Twan007

I dont know what gas prices are like up in Nebraska, but you might consider a diesel, it might be cheaper in the long run, they also keep there value longer and will outlast a gas motor....the dirty rumor is that Ford will hit the market next year with a F-150 powered by a V-6 diesel motor.....my current ride is a 4x4 F-250 diesel super crew short bed..

I've had it 2 1/2 years and no problems. Tons of room inside.
