What does this mean to you?
What are your thoughts on this? Don't hold back. Positive or not positive.

First thing comes to my mind is that it is an endorsement to become a thug to get money.

Maybe I'm having a Jenna moment, but it strikes me as a commentary on the US government, specifically politics and money, and how politicians get rich off of the people they're supposed to represent.

Disgraceful.
I usually associate "Get Money" (or "Get That Money") to a life of drugs/drug dealing.

Remember who you are, and where you came from. That way you never get a big head.

to me, it tells the story of the bearer, the same way a rap music video does.... it has all the things they never had growing up: money, beautiful women, expensive cars, mansions, etc. :-X

I think it screams "I'm a dickhead", but that's just my opinion.

the first thing that comes to mind is a political cartoon that he did during the French and Indain war... it was a snake cut into pieces with the different states named on it with the saying, join or die... sort of gang like... there...
however.. i am not sure the person who did this was thinking clearly... I mean to pick this guy... Benjamin Franklin of all people.. is a bit strange.
He was such a political activist.....
As a political writer and activist he, more than anyone, invented the idea of an American nation, and as a diplomat during the American Revolution, he secured the French Alliance that helped to make independence possible.
Franklin was noted for his curiosity, his writings (popular, political and scientific), and his diversity of interests. As a leader of the Enlightenment, he gained the recognition of scientists and intellectuals across Europe. An agent in London before the Revolution, and Minister to France during the war, he, more than anyone else, defined the new nation in the minds of Europe. His success in securing French military and financial aid was a great contributor to the American victory over Britain. He was an early proponent of colonial unity… Many historians hail him as the "First American."
I just think there are other choices that are better to do this to even representing money...
and that being said.. then i get back to the 'First American' thing and I can't help but sit in betrayal...
yeah .. ok so after thinking out loud a whole bunch.....
this is a symbol of simple betrayal.
i can hear him saying....' whos yo daddy now biatch'

We dallied under
Vine maples and sapling alders
Searched for lady slippers
But instead
Found blackberry riots and
Desiccated branches
An old skid road
Brought ghost ferns and
Hollows filled with
Skunk cabbage
While waves wrapped
Intricate lacings of weeds
'Round mule spinners
His cyanotic eyes
Were hard enough to make
The sun turn tail and
Tender enough to attract me
To his world of illusion

Ok, I was just wondering. My wife and I went shoe shopping with one of my older kids and happened into this shop at the mall. The shirt was hanging on the wall. There was nothing on the back. I looked at the shirt for a while on purpose before making up my mind what I would think it represents. I tried to imagine several different angles of opinion. Then I decided to take a photo of it and ask you guys.
I happen to think it would represent, at least to the average individual, a thug mentality. The image itself revolves around money. The bandana is seen throughout the "gang" or "thug" lifestyle. The hiding of identity . Unless of course you're on a cattle drive. (sarcasm intended) The two together in the same image, seems to me, places both money and the gang or thug lifestyle in the same arena. I wanted to know if it was just me and was hoping it wasn't. Just trying to make a point to someone. I appreaciate your time.Do not war for peace. If you must war, war for justice. For without justice there is no peace. -me

Maybe he has tuberculosis and is wearing a scarf to try to keep others from catching it? And he needs to get money to buy antibiotics?

The force that propels you to prevail when you are put to a test of survival will be a mindset that refuses to accept nothing but winning.
Too often, we lose sight of life's simple pleasures. Remember, when someone annoys you it takes 42 muscles in your face to frown, BUT, it only takes 4 muscles to reach out and bitch slap that motherf*cker upside the head.

it reminds me of every other "scarface", "stop snitching", "murder", "gangsta", printed images of dollar signs and handguns, and whatever other ridiculous looking tee you see out on the street corners today. it probably comes down over the wearers knees, and is meant to be worn 6 sizes too big for ghetto effect. and im sure it also comes in red with a matching straight brimmed hat. needless to say, i am not a fan.
in the warriors code there's no surrender, though his body says stop, his spirit cries...NEVER. deep in our souls, a quiet ember, knows its you against you, its the paradox that drives us all. its a battle of wills, in the heat of attack, its the passion that kills, and victory is yours alone.
the posts and opinions stated by me do not in any way reflect the values, beliefs, or views of my department. they are simply opinions and/or observations which have been developed through my personal experiences. hell, most of the stories probably arent even true...wink wink
