found a kitten!!

We went fishing today and look what we found..........

When we pulled in this little guy came running and meowing.....sooooooo cute. We can't keep him (wish we could) but we brought him home, anyway. We call him Phoenix. I guess 5 cats, 3 hamsters, and fish are enough, we are also getting a puppy in the spring. We have full house already.

That's great news, you've rescued a great little guy and I'm certain he knows it. I've got 7 cats myself, all rescues of one sort or another, and even got one from a lady in front of a Wal-Mart. I have "SUCKER" on my forehead, apparently. They're all wonderful and add a lot to my life. I'm sure this little guy has a great future. Good job!

Totaly incredible!! I rescued my Penny cat from in front of a wal-Mart where some sub-human left her when she was about 4 weeks old. She's still grateful after 3 years with me. I have 6 and, like you, all are rescues of one type or another.

He certainly is a cutie. My wife is another one who has SUCKER written on her forehead. Cats just seem to flock to her. We currently have 9. All indoor and 8 are fixed. We just cant let them run around outside and stand the chance of losing one. Been there, Done that, Bought the t-shirt. The newest arrival was pregnant when my wife found her just a few days ago. Most have either been strays or taken off of friends. Only one was bought from a pet store. I swear my wife is a cat magnet. Although I'm not complaining.

I would love to keep him, Hubby doesn't like that idea and still get a puppy in the spring. Then again who knows..........if my sister doesn't take him, we might just keep him. I won't let him go to just anyone. I can hold off on getting a puppy for a while longer, this little guy needs me.

Puppies and kittens actually can socialize quite well despite the difference in size from what I have seen. Not sure how big or small of a dog you are getting. Even though I have a small dog, she just loves to play with the cats. Some actually tolerate her and will play right back. If they are raised together they will be best buds.

My cats set the tone right off by beating the snot out of my dogs. Now they groom each other and my dogs are very protective of the little furry butts.

Well, spoke to my sister, no go on taking the little guy, but we are plotting..............If we can't find a trustworthy person, he will stay. Then in spring, I'm getting a gift!!!!! A puppy, I love my sister..................lol. Either that or hubby will cave..........

Honestly, one more cat to the bunch really doesn't make that big of a dent in the house. Trust me, I know whereof I speak. I take care of my 7 as easily as 3. I wouldn't recommend adding 4 to the bunch at the same time, but 1 isn't exactly a problem.
