Your cell phone (telemarketers)
For your cell phones -
In case you have not already done this:
REMINDER....9 days from today, all cell phone numbers are being
released to telemarketing companies and you will start to receive sales
calls.
......YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THESE CALLS
To prevent this, call the following number from your cell phone:
888-382-1222.
It is the National DO NOT CALL list. It will only take a minute of your time.
It blocks your number for five (5) years.
You must call from the cell phone number you want to have blocked.
You cannot call from a different phone number.
I dont know if anyone is interested in this, but thought i would share it.YEAH, IM THE BERRIES, AND CHERRIES IN YOUR REAR VIEW MIRROR.

For whatever reason, I've had a community college call me 2 times a week. It's not even a real person calling!

My number was recycled from a substitute teacher, there was a couple months there when she would get calls to come in to sub.. it was tempting to tell them that she wasn't available, but I'd come in. I can just hear the stories the kids would tell.

When I work dispatch I get at least 3 calls a night from telemarketers. It's like wtf, do you not realize when I pick up the phone and the words out of my mouth include police department, that we don't want your shit.
There’s a promise I need you to make

And I’ll deal with the hate.
Don’t worry about me; I’ll be all right

I’ll keep you safe on my watch tonight

I remember getting calls like that in dispatch... The worst part was that there are several desks and multiple, sequential lines. The damn calls would move through the office!
But now I get the occasional fucking Spanish telemarketing call on my cell phone...
