World Cup Rugby-Well played the USA
A valiant effort on the part of the USA in their opening World Cup game, obviously they were never going to beat England. (
) but they made a game of it.
Now if you could just get the rest of your country to adopt the best game in the World you might just win it one day. (Not in my lifetime though.
).

I have to agree with you, Trojan!! After actually watching rugby while visiting friends in Ireland, I have to say that it's far more exciting than American football!!

I'm sure if more Americans enjoyed Rugby, we would destroy England in it like every thing else we do (war, basketball...etc).

I don't really understand how Rugby is played. Is there any strategy involved, like football, or is it more like soccer but with the ball being picked up and carried?

I really enjoyed France's loss to Argentina. But you gotta love Japan. To take a major asswhippin each game and not quit. They definitely have guts.

Well I've watched every game so far. NZ look good. The Aussies seemed a little off their best. South Africa weren't the force I expected. England were rubbish and will struggle to beat either S.Africa or Samoa on current form. I still think a NZ and Ausssie final is most likely. Who cares though? Rugby, ya gotta love it.

I just wish we could watch it more over here. I've often thought about tracking down a local team and seeing if I could play.

It is indeed Tony. And I can't call it. You've not been that impressive, but we've been rubbish but improving. Jason Robinson is fit again so that's a good thing. You could stuff us, or we could sneak it. As long as we don't have such a cheat as the Ref was the last World Cup Final!!

That's probably the USA Team, Term. You'd fit right in.

We have to let you win something once and a while! After all, you did loose the greatest Nation on earth! For the morning will come. Brightly will it shine on the brave and true, kindly upon all who suffer for the cause, glorious upon the tombs of heroes. Thus will shine the dawn.
