Today is chili dog day!
I think I may have my first one here in a few minutes.
There are 5 of us, 30 hot dogs and one full crock pot of chili with mushrooms.
Yep, I do believe today is going to be a good day.
If you think about it, say a prayer for my kids and wife. It aint gonna be a quiet night tonight!

chili with any outside ingredients is considered "soup." If you take chili with beans in it to an authentic Texas chili cook-off, you are done. Meat, spices and water. That is all.

Nope, just some seasoning, the steak (cut into strips) and a wee bit of moisture for a texas chili.
