Wisdom teeth are out...
and it hurts like hell. I'm puffed up like a chipmunk...loaded with vicodin...and missing a bit of jaw bone (they had to remove it to get the tooth out). Also on antibiotics since the one tooth was up in the sinus, they don't want me to get an infection. Got plenty of anti nausea stuff too. Been surviving on smoothies, applesauce and pudding. I get to have hot food again tomorrow. Thank the powers that be that this only has to be done once. Uuuugh...

In theory, I'll be in that same boat here pretty soon. I say "in theory" because everytime I go to a dentist who says I outta have them taken out, I find a new dentist. Lather, rinse, repeat until I find one who says it doesn't matter. I'm not looking forward to that at all. I had my first cavity done a few months ago, and it was not pleasant. I can't imagine wisdom teeth. Good luck.

I kid you not, I ate baby food. The desserts are great.... the meats and veggies are bad! Personal fav. the cobler. Good luck and pray to the gods that you dont get a dry socket!

I need to get mine out too. I keep putting it off. Probably isnt the best idea, but I dont like the thought of surgery.

Right now I just feel sore and floaty...not driving for obvious reasons. I have a doctors appt tomorrow so I'll have to go off the vicodin. Not looking forward to that but I can't drive with this junk in my system. Hopefully it'll be quick.

Right now still sore and swollen. I've been trying to take less of the vicodin because it really screws me up. I want to go to a movie tonight and I'd like to go shooting this weekend. All things I can't do with this stuff in my system. The problem is when I don't take it, I am in excruciating pain. I really need to get back to the gym too. I haven't gone in 3 days because I've been feeling like crap. The physical test for Everett is on Oct 6 so its getting closer which has me a little worried. Plus with not being allowed solids I don't have the energy to do half the stuff I need to do.
I think I felt better after the surgery on my foot, LOL!
