Writing in progress
Ok folks. Occasionally I get the urge to be creative. I write poetry from time to time. (go ahead and get the jokes out of the way.) I've thought about this for some time and I think I want to write another one. Since I think of this place as my second home I would like some input from my "second" family. If ya'll would be so inclined think of one word or very short phrase that expresses a feeling you have about law enforcement. I want to take this melting of words and turn it into a writing. I'll post it here as written by the LEF family. This won't happen overnight as I would like some time to put it into perspective(s) and get a feeling as to where it will go. Thank you ahead of time for your assistance.Do not war for peace. If you must war, war for justice. For without justice there is no peace. -me

selflessnessWise men stand behind me, brave men stand beside me, but only fools stand against me.
The force that propels you to prevail when you are put to a test of survival will be a mindset that refuses to accept nothing but winning.
Too often, we lose sight of life's simple pleasures. Remember, when someone annoys you it takes 42 muscles in your face to frown, BUT, it only takes 4 muscles to reach out and bitch slap that motherf*cker upside the head.
