Need happy thoughts...
I am so excited to be able to post again, but I am kind of depressed.
On Monday morning my younger cousin was admitted to the hospital for an infection in his "private" area. It turns out the infection was an ingrown hair and it spread and turned into the flesh eating gang-green (spelled) and he is now fighting for his life. He has had three surgery's since Monday and today he underwent a very serious one that we will know in the morning if it helped. He has been in the ICU since the first surgery... his father had a surgery yesterday for a knee injury and my family is spread all over because of them being in two separate hospitals.
If you could think a happy thought or say a prayer for him I would appreciate it, he is 26 single and right now it looks like any chance of him having children is now gone. I don't know what to say to my aunt anymore.. she is so tired and spread so thin... it just isn't fair when you think you are going in for something minor and you then begin the biggest fight for your life you have ever had...
Sorry to ramble.. I think I just needed to vent and I truly value everyones opinions here...

happy thoughts en route kiddo....sometimes it helps just to be that shoulder to lean on, your Aunt will appreciate that a ton I am sure. Wish you and yours well
500 fights, that's the number I figured when I was a kid. 500 street fights and you could consider yourself a legitimate tough guy. You need them for experience. To develop leather skin. So I got started. Of course along the way you stop thinking about being tough and all that. It stops being the point. You get past the silliness of it all. But then, after, you realize that's what you are.

wow illy
you are having it rough
hugs to you and your family!http://www.allpoetry.com/Grunts%20Girl
We dallied under
Vine maples and sapling alders
Searched for lady slippers
But instead
Found blackberry riots and
Desiccated branches
An old skid road
Brought ghost ferns and
Hollows filled with
Skunk cabbage
While waves wrapped
Intricate lacings of weeds
'Round mule spinners
His cyanotic eyes
Were hard enough to make
The sun turn tail and
Tender enough to attract me
To his world of illusion

The man who will go where his colors go, without asking who will fight a phantom foe in the jungle and mountain range, without counting, and who will suffer and die in the midst of incredible hardship, without complaint, is still what he has always been, from Imperial Rome to sceptered Britain to democratic America. He is the stuff of which legions are made. ...His pride is in his colors and his regiment, his training hard and thorough and coldly realistic, to fit him for what he must face...and his obedience is to his orders. He has been called United State Marine.

Illiy: I'll add my prayers and positive thoughts. Friends and relatives need someone to be strong for all of them at times like this. If that can be you, it is a priceless gift in bad times.
