Just finnished "If I Did It"
Has anyone read O.J. Simpsons book? I have never been more pissed off than I was when I finnished it. Not only did he kill two people in cold blood, but then he has the balls to write a book and flaunt it in the face of the families! What a COCKSUCKER! Murdering FUCK!

From those in the media who've read it, they say this book makes it blatantly obvious that he did in fact get away with double murder.

OH YES HE DID!
Maclean used to work for the Lt. who ran that homicide investigation. He had Lang and VanAtter up to Seattle for a visit after the trial was over and we went out on his boat. Drank beer and talked about the case. I was still active at the time.
He really did get away with it....not that he planned it that way but he had the money to hire the dream team. They took it as a personal challenge and ran roughshod over the law for months, finally beating the jury into submission.
The prosecution was not the first team either and if Garcetti had stepped up and done it himself, O.J. might have fried.

Simpson got lucky with a perfect confluence of events...
He wasn't seen covered in blood. When questioned and dealt with, he was pretty much treated with kid gloves wrapped in velvet because he was a BLACK CELEBRITY!
Then, he gets a judge who wanted to be on TV...
The prosecution made plenty of mistakes, too...
He had the money to hire his dream team of attorneys who didn't care what it took to win...
One of the detectives involved made stupid mistakes on the stand...
The crime scene team made plenty of mistakes, too...
Henry Lee decided THIS was the case to blow his reputation on...
Oh,
And he was a black man, charged by "whitey", in the wake of the Rodney King case. In LA.
Sadly, the prosecution DID leave room for reasonable doubt in the way the case was presented; if you didn't buy that Simpson travelled between the houses in the time alotted (which was, from what I understand, tight)... then there was reasonable doubt.
It sickens me -- but there was room for doubt.
Oh... and his "hunt for the so-called real killer".... Well, we know the "real killer" hasn't been lurking on golf courses, right?

I always knew he did it the book just proves it. I'm glad the family and not him are getting the proceeds.

Yeah I refuse to read it because I know it'll only piss me off. That guy is a total scumbag who deserves some sort of punishment.

From the sounds of the recent news, he might get something coming after all.

I couldn't read it...what a travesty. I do believe in what goes around, comes around. Some day he will get his.

I wonder what it's like for his kids to be living with him knowing that he killed their mother.

If you've ever read the transcript of the interview, you'd know he did it. The detectives just flubbed it up.

I'm refusing to carry that book in my store, and oddly enough (sarcasm) no one has asked for it. The man was caught lying on the stand REPEATEDLY and he just walks away. Sickening.

Mark Fuhrman lives here in our town and I have spoken to him many times. He also has some great stories. Too bad he made a stupid mistake that the Dream Team was able to exploit.

i'm honestly surprised OJ is still walking the streets. By rights, he should be on death row.
