The Boston Red Sox win the World Series!!!
The Red Sox have won the World Series, in dominating fashion. Tonight, they defeated the Rockies 4-3, completing the four game sweep. Go BoSox!!!

The red sox have now won 8 World Series games in a row with back to back sweeps in their last two world series appearances.
More to follow when MVP and other awards announced. I'm hitting refresh almost constantly on the sports page until they announce!
My personal prediction is that Dustin Pedrioa or Jacobi Ellsbury will be the MVP. My hope and gut feeling is that Dustin will be the one. Either way, both played outstanding offense/defense and are both rookies AND Ellsbury didn't have enough appearances this year for this to qualify as a full season, so he gets to be rookie again next year

Mike Lowell won MVP! He batted 400 during the World Series. His contract is about to expire, so let's hope they can re-sign him.

I am a fan that lives so far in the boondocks that I get laughed at when I ask for local channels through my TV provider...I was unable to watch the series and was resigned to having to watch the running ticker on ESPN or pitch by pitch on the internet...if i wasn't working Originally Posted by ManImBored
