Who is your favorite President, and why?
mine is Ronald Reagan. he won the Cold War, and is the epitome of class.
I plan on naming my first daughter (if i have one, that is), after him.
My puppy's name is also Reagan. I figure i'll tell the daughter she is named after the dog for a while

George Washington.
He risked his life and fortune to break away from British rule. Has any president since volunteered to take on something which might get him hung? (ok, after Adams, Jefferson...I mean those after the period)
He could have easily taken a crown. Not only did he refuse it repeatedly, but he stepped down from the Presidency. There was no rule saying he must do so.
He did the honorable thing in his death and freed his slaves. I would prefer he had been more like Adams or Hamilton from the start in this regard, but he did do so. For his time it was an honorable thing.
A brave soldier and graceful leader. GW has my vote.

Teddy Roosevelt. Kick ass, take names, and he didn't mind offending people. Plus he's a relative.

Ronald Wilson Reagan, The man was a class act, a gentleman, and he wasn't afraid to do what had to be done or tell people what he thought straight from the hip. He was also the only US President to have been a genuine Hollywood actor. Plus his Secret Service call sign (Rawhide) was really cool.
