Pontiac G8 GT

Just learnt our GM Holden Commdore SS V8 is being marketed in the US in 2008 as a Pontiac G8 GT. The 2 door version, a Monaro here, had been the Pontiac GTO for the past few years.

The US version has a better front imo.

I've seen that Aussie car before. It's pretty cool looking.

But I'll stick with a Crown Victoria...

They have made some nice improvements in the VE model.

Strange names, Tony...but those are what I call a good lookin ride. If it goes as well as it looks, should be a fun car for patrol.

Lucky for us it has the Chevy 6.0 litre V8.

Holden was an Aussie car maker then General Motors took them over in the 50's.

Commodore is the name they gave their family car & Ford have the Falcon here . . . been that way for over 2 decades or more.

It's one of our most popular cars, mainly as a V6.
