I agree, Ender. I find myself cussing out an automated answering service every month as I pay bills over the telephone with my debit card. And then when you get a live person, if they speak English, they don't know what the fuck they're doing...which is probably why they're working where they are, and not a better job.

Fast-food restaurants will fuck up your order in a heartbeat, and the employees are generally not friendly. If you have a "special order" (like no pickles, no onions), you have just fucked up there day. They will not be able to handle the stress and for sure you will end up with whatever they feel like giving you.

I could type a long drawn out literary piece on what is wrong with people. But I'll keep it short and simple. "People are stupid."

on the rant note, there IS one restaurant i've been thru about 10 times, and they have gotten my order right every time. i won't say the name, because i'll get screwed over next time for sure, but it starts with Del and ends with a very common mexican food that can come in a hard or soft shell


seems to come in bunches for me. a day will go smooth and peaceful like...no problem. then the next day, i'll almost get in 3 car accidents from dumbasses pulling out of me, i'll order a burger at the drive thru and get it all fucked up, and i'll spend two hours arguing with some company over a bill that THEY screwed up on.

i'm gonna learn how to speak Indian for the next time i have to make a call to a company. or at least how to successfully and roundly insult them in their native language!

my favorite part about calling companies is when they, in their HEAVILY accented Engrish, say, "allo! this ees TOM SMITH. *can't understand anything from here on out*" i've never met a real Indian guy named tom smith, but they are ALL over India

As am I, and I've had some customer service issues in a few areas. I just stopped patronizing them and went elsewhere.

i also show my appreciation, or lack thereof, with my wallet.

it works for small businessess (there was a place open for years that i worked at, business got sold when the owner retired. new owner was a complete prick, and by all accounts lost his ass and the business).

but Burger King ain't gonna feel the hurt by closing ONE of their stores down, which is too bad
