I do not listen to any particular genre as a rule. You will find my playlist consists of everything from Jerry Vale to Kill Switch Engage. The only genre that I come close to disliking on a whole is R&B/Hip Hop but there are still one or two songs that I like

I like pretty much everything. Mostly metal and rock, though. Bands such as Metallica, Pantera, Chevelle, Alterbridge, Hell Yeah. I mostly like metal and rock because i used to play guitar for a rock band.

I have a pretty broad taste in music. I listen to mostly classic rock, but enjoy listening to classical and jazz as well. My basic rule is if i can understand the singer ill listen to it.

I listen to mostly rock/metal, especially Metallica, Pantera and old Iron Maiden. For the most part i will listen to most anything, except for goatrope music. After being stationed in Texas for several years, that stuff got pretty much forced fed to you everywhere you went. I do not like modern R&B or hip hop (whatever it's called nowadays), but once in a while there will be a song I like. I do like old rap from late 80's, early 90's, and some R&B music from that era. I guess I am getting too old now to understand the new stuff, which just sounds like a bunch of illiterate people screaming crap into a microphone. At least the metal people doing that has some musical talent and not using someone else's music to mess up.

1. Rock, Don't know just like it.
2. Country, I like the fact that 90% of country has a meaning to the song.
HATE RAP.

Grew up on Rock n' Roll and I'm not sorry I did! Van Halen, ZZ Top, Def Leppard, Stevie Ray and the like. I'm a big fan of any and all things containing excellent guitar work. Joe Satriani can play like none other. Jeff Beck has been cranking out a similar type of album the last several years also.
Not a huge fan of country but my two best friends have got me to where I can tolerate it if its on. Not a rap fan at all.

I will listen to pretty much every genre, it depends on my mood. With a couple of exceptions, I'm not a big fan of country music.

Godsmack, Metallica, Barenaked Ladies, Blue October, Pink Floyd, Alice Cooper, etc etc. For some reason I really don't like chick singers/bands. Can't tolerate rap at all, and most country really isn't to my taste.
