Remembrance Day
Hey all,
Just as Americans have Veterans Day, Canadians also have a similar day, known as Remembrance Day. It's on November 11th, and at 11 AM we share two minutes of silence to remember those heroes who made their sacrifices, fought and died to protect the freedom of people all over the world.
Please take a moment to join us and honour Canadian, American, British and other war heroes.
This is a great piece of music written by Terry Kelly:

“Anyone can give up, it's the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength.”

It's the same as the UK. Although the Remembrance Day Parades etc are normally held on the closest Sunday to 11/11. I shall be out playing the Last Post and Reveille at a service on Sunday, as usual.

Thanks, 2525.
Thanks too to all of our allies that speak funny english. And Shepards we shall be,
for thee, My Lord, for thee,
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand,
That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy Command.
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee
And teeming with souls will it ever be.
In Nomine Patris, Et Filli, Et Spiritus Sancti.
