Well if you don't want a proper motorbike, then I suppose that one's OK. Especially at that price.

It's not Honda, but I'd jump on it! You can ride it for a year or two and most likely sell it for more than you paid!

I'd sell it for a Honda CBR600 though.

If you don't go for it...you will always wonder. I had the chance to own and keep a Honda CBR 1000 some years ago and I am still sorry I didn't do it.

    Go for it!!!!

Pictures indicate that it looks like its a nice bike.

As long as it runs, and you are happy, who cares what other people think. Its the sweat off your sack that is buying it, no one elses.

Buy it, and sell it for more. Donercycles = bad idea. It is not if but when and how many times someone wrecks you. I used to ride with my dad all the time. His last wreck cost him a screw and wire in his knee. If everyone rode them I would ride in a heart beat. Too bad most people ride around in 2 ton wrecking balls.

As for the initial question....that sounds like a steal, which is good. Use the extra money to buy some tools, a trailer, and take some motorcycle repair classes. It is after all, a Harley.
500 fights, that's the number I figured when I was a kid. 500 street fights and you could consider yourself a legitimate tough guy. You need them for experience. To develop leather skin. So I got started. Of course along the way you stop thinking about being tough and all that. It stops being the point. You get past the silliness of it all. But then, after, you realize that's what you are.
