Think Before You Speak Got Me Thinking
Ever have a moment where you did that? If so what was it...
Here is one of mine.. yeah I did say one...
Paul and I were in Subway ordering sandwiches for dinner one night. The place was pretty busy and the lady asked me if I wanted a whole sub or a half of sub. I said nice and clear with out thinking...
"I'm not into those big things" while pointing at the big subs....
Paul was so embarassed while everyone was laughing we had to leave the store without our food.
so what is one of your moments you wished you thought before you spoke?

We dallied under
Vine maples and sapling alders
Searched for lady slippers
But instead
Found blackberry riots and
Desiccated branches
An old skid road
Brought ghost ferns and
Hollows filled with
Skunk cabbage
While waves wrapped
Intricate lacings of weeds
'Round mule spinners
His cyanotic eyes
Were hard enough to make
The sun turn tail and
Tender enough to attract me
To his world of illusion

I know exactly how it feels to wish you could take back the words! Many years ago I went to our local butcher to get some steaks, but the steaks were all bright red in colour, so I asked him if he had any darker, older steaks because......... wait for it ................."I like my meat well hung!"

WTF I nearly died on the spot with embarrassment while they convulsed with laughter.
Never approach a bull by the front, a horse from behind, or an idiot from any direction.
