I DID IT.
Thats right I did it. Did what you may ask? After 2 weeks of determination, bruises and aches, I've made it over the 6ft solid wall for our assesment test today. ON MY FIRST TRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ha. It feels so good to finally get over that thing. I'm 5'3 and I've had trouble with it for a long time, I finally figured out what I've been doing wrong all those times, and tomorrow before class a bunch of us are going over to the wall to practice.

Congrats!! I know how you feel. The first time I ever tried to go over a wall was in the academy during a firing range stress course. I almost had myself psyched out about it but I made it.

Out of 72 people in my academy class, I was the first one cause my last name starts with an AB, that made me more nervous than I was before, I told our Lieutenant that I'm pretty sure I can't do it, he got in my face and put his arms on my shoulder and looked me straight in the eyes and said "What'd I hear you say? Did I just hear you say you're not confident? This wall is what's between you and the academy, you've made it this far now you can make it over this wall, NOW I WANNA SEE YOUR ASS OVER THAT WALL NOW" and that's when I almost shit my pants and ran to the wall. it turned out I just needed to get my elbows up alittle more to where I can just pull myself up and push my body weight forward and cling my foot on top of that fence. Hahaha it felt great. I was one of the 6 girls that made it over. We have 20 girls in our class. Thank you for all the replies
