we need to start a LEF relief fund lol
damn that suckshttp://www.allpoetry.com/Grunts%20Girl
We dallied under
Vine maples and sapling alders
Searched for lady slippers
But instead
Found blackberry riots and
Desiccated branches
An old skid road
Brought ghost ferns and
Hollows filled with
Skunk cabbage
While waves wrapped
Intricate lacings of weeds
'Round mule spinners
His cyanotic eyes
Were hard enough to make
The sun turn tail and
Tender enough to attract me
To his world of illusion

I feel for you man...I'm here in Bremerton. I got home last night to find that the street right on the other side of my home street is gone. A 150 ft section was washed away...and left about a 75 foot drop in between. The two houses near there seem to be okay but are now cliffside property. At least we got our power back.

Well the waters finally receded; thankfully there was no damage to my house only a swamped yard.
My sump pump under the house was on overtime that’s for sure.
The drainage was poorly designed by the builder. This has been an ongoing issue however this has been the worse its ever gotten. My neighborhood HOA that I pay $500 per year too is filling a suit against the builder to fix this mess.
Sorry I had no photos of me in my Speedo swimming out in my temporary beach front home.

I just got back from doing another windshield survey of the damage.
I did get the underside of my truck washed out of it, lol.I'm your huckleberry...

It's not even winter yet and I'm already looking forward to our one week of summer. Six inches of snow with high winds on Saturday and then the rains came.
At least here we didn't get the flooding as bad as other parts of the state.
