Please Remember
Pearl Harbor and those who died that day, and the veterans who didn't. More then 2300 died and 1100 wounded 66 years ago today when the US was plunged into WW2

Good call, 213. Thanks for that reminder.
And Shepards we shall be,
for thee, My Lord, for thee,
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand,
That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy Command.
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee
And teeming with souls will it ever be.

Thank you for this thread, 213th. I had the opportunity to meet a Pearl Harbor veteran when I visited the USS Arizona Memorial earlier this year. It was a very humbling experience. Thank you to all of our veterans.

Thanks for the reminder 213th. It was a very sad day in US History. Many thanks to those who served and those who serve now. In our busy lives we sometimes forget to stop and give thanks to the servicemen and women past and present.
My dad, I miss him every day.

I hear ya...you might think given where I work that everyone would remember but, I needed to give the flight sergeant a friendly reminder so that the Colors got properly lowered to half-staff for the day. On the way home this morning I'll get the City's flag if it hasn't been done. It's a pet peeve of mine I guess you could say.

Thanks for the reminder 213th. I need to call my dad's uncle and thank him.
