Do you have a block heather on your vehicle?

How in the hell do you keep water pipes from freezing there? It was 5 below here and my pipes froze a couple weeks ago.
It's better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

The snow cover helps alot, when there is enough of it. We really don't see a lot of snow here normally. So far, every winter my sewer pipes have frozen. The well is directly underneath the house, so those pipes don't freeze. With the sewer, they usually drop a heating element into the sewer, and I think the pipes have heat tape wrapped around them, but they don't plug them in till they freeze.

The official recorded low for last night was -62 degrees, making it the second coldest temperature since I've been here.

Screw dat. Move someplace normal, lol.
There’s a promise I need you to make
While I’m gone you take care of the love
And I’ll deal with the hate.
Don’t worry about me; I’ll be all right
Just care for your children and sleep tight
I’ll keep you safe on my watch tonight
