This Group.....
was popular through my teen years. Pay special attention because you can hear the music, melody, words and no innuendo, dirty words, profanity. Not anything like today's junk.

Cool! Way before my time, but for some reason the song sounds familiar. Maybe it was in a TV commercial?

Bear, I'll date myself with you.
The "Oldie Goldies" were much better than the "cling-clang", "bing-bang", "boom-boom" so-called "music" of the past several years.
And as for rap "music", I won't even go there.
Thanks for the memories.

Well, actually, the sea did not part....we walked on the rocks so everyone thought we could do anything. It was easy in those days - no Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton to interfer with our actions!

Actually, I am proud of my age. Considering the average life span after retirement is about six years, I will be retired 16 years come February. Almost half of the time I spent as a LEO. Certainly does not feel as though I have been gone that long. The time flys!!!

Good tunes, Papa. Before my time as well, but well appreciated.
I love to listen to the doo wop groups of the 50's as well.

Dont worry bout the kids in here Papa,I bet there are more that enjoyed that than are willing to admit it.
I "got lucky" more times than I can count to "doo wop",I still cant believe that women of today would rather here someone in the background singing "bout his ho,thats good for ,etc. etc."I wont go into full detail, but in my day,we "made love",to music.I am not necessarily talking about the "horizontal Lombada" here, but actually ,kissed, snuggled and gasp, talked.
