Now thats a nice patrol rig.....I haven't driven one but maclean and my daughter both have and they like them a lot. Supposed to be very fast but a little hard to un-ass in a hurry.
Car 4I would like my country back. I used to believe that one man could never destroy this country. Not so sure anymore!

Very nice, i like the color scheme. I, myself, have never driven a Charger patrol vehicle yet.

I like how the black wraps around the top of the fenders/bumper.

I wish we would get chargers, never going to happen. Those look great.

That does look sweet. I doubt we will ever see Dodges again.

Well, I shouldn't say that, because in all honesty, they are pretty good cars, I am just not a fan of them. From my experience, they are far too cramped, and there are a lot of visability problems. I have heard nothing but negative feedback from the officers at my agency. We have one or two marked Chargers that we bought 2 years ago, and they always sit unused in the garage because all of the officers hate them and none will use them.

They sure do look nice. The PD over here has one unmarked charger unit, but most have 4X4 suv's due to the snow.

Bosco, until you have driven one yourself and are old enough to make an opinion without following in the foot steps of others, shush. The Charger has been the best thing to happen to police cars since the lightbar was first invented. A car that is made to be a police car. The shorter windows offer more protection for the guy sitting behind the wheel. The front window does offer a smaller view than the CV, but it is a small sacrifice for the bonuses. The inside of the vehicle is more spacious than the CV. I can actually sit in the Charger and not hit the gas if all the way back in the seat. I can't do that with the CV. In most cases, the CV is uncomfortable because of the cramped conditions of the steering wheel. The engine puts out a hell of a lot more power when and where I need it. The steering is a hundred times more stable and the braking is noticeably better. The car is made, from the bottom up, as a police car. So the wiring harness problems that you always run into with the CV's? Gone. All in all, it does have its issues, but Dodge is receptive to the issues and has been changing them as fast as they are submitted. Some things I am willing to deal with for an overall better performing car.And Shepards we shall be,
for thee, My Lord, for thee,
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand,
That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy Command.
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee
And teeming with souls will it ever be.

My agency has a Dodge Charger with the hemi V8, decked out with LED's. All of us love it, and we're probably going to all Chargers in the future.

I will outright admit, have I ever driven one of the Charger patrol cars? No, I haven't. Was I right to just make a comment like that? No, I wasn't. When I made that post, I just wanted to contribute to the thread my thoughts on the Charger from my personal experience. I have never driven one, but I have been in them more times than I can possibly count. Is that even nearly the same as driving one? No, not at all. I was just replying with the small exerience I have, and all of the feedback I have recieved and heard about from the officers here.Former member of the LNC
