Officer Resource Update

Hello,

I just wanted to let you all know that yes today is the day. LEF will go down around 12am midnight eastern time. LEF as we know it will be dead and gone. When we go back live we will be known as OfficerResource.com. The change over should be between 1 and 2 hours. As Term said the forums will remain as they are now. We are bringing you a whole new look into the future of this site.

I would personally like to thank a few people. I would like to thank Signal_W. A few years ago I came to LEF and was on the "watch list". A few thought I may be here to start trouble because I came from a different site. Term and Signal_W gave me a chance to prove that I not here for trouble. Signal_W then asked me to become a mod a short time later. I would like to thank Term. Term and I have built a great friendship over the past few years and we work pretty good together. Not many people could put up with Term but I think I balance him out pretty good. I would Like to thank our Mod team. Our mods are unreal. The amount of work that goes into a site like this is unreal. We all do this for free. We do not make money doing it. Our Mods are very dedicated and for that I would like to thank them. I would like to thank our two new Super Mods. They have only been on board for a very very short time and these two guys are unreal. These guy are helping me sleep at night and not have to worry about the forums. I would like to thank the members. With out members we would be an empty place online. The members are truly what makes this site what it is. Lastly I would like to thank Brian from www.thedesignforge.net Brian and his wife Nicole worked very hard to develop the new face of OfficerResource.com.

The past two years has been very fun for me. I hope that you all like what you see with the new site. One thing the new site will do is give us a lot of room to grow. Please continue to give input. We will continue to give you what you want.

As we change over people may experience a few problems. This is normal when you do a change over like this. The server will take a day or so to cycle and catch up with the change.

Again thank you all for sticking with us through the good and bad times. 2008 is going to be our best year ever so hold on and enjoy the ride

Ditto to the above posts. I have been here a short time and have made many friends. I look forward to spending time here and with the improved site up and running I don't know when I will have time to sleep. lol. I want to thank Term and Reca, you believed me, that is all that needs be said. All the current mods, the past mods, the Squad Room Council, you all have made this site what it is, keeping the trolls in check, making it a safe and secure place for us all. Thanks to all of you from all of us.

Okay, I like the new dew, but I have to work on the two scoll bars, I can be a little stupid at times and I move the wrong one. Nice work on everything! I can see I will have continued enjoyment from this site.

You guys have out done yourself, keep up the great work, Hey I like the ads

Awesome job guys, I am like a kid at Christmas! Amazing amount of work put in! WHen will the LEF url redirect to O/R?

the LEF URL is redirecting for some. Like I said in the other thread it will take a few days for the site to cycle and catch up. Most of the errors will be self corrected.

Two scroll bars will be gone again just need to tweak some things

Glad to hear that. That's my only complaint so far. That and the fact that when I go to the next page, it starts in the middle of the page, rather than at the top. When the two scroll bars are removed, will the forum fill the whole width of the page? I don't like the framed look.

Other than this, good job on the new front page.
