Garth Brooks
As some of you country music fans may know Garth Brooks has a CD out called the Ultimate Hits. What some of you may not know is that if you go to the Komen Breast Cancer web site and order it there $10.00 of the $15.00 goes to breast cancer research. Not only will you be getting a great CD but you might be helping someone you know or a loved one win the fight against breast cancer. As a breast cancer survivor I can tell you they not only do breast cancer research but are there for those that need them.

that is awsome
http://www.allpoetry.com/Grunts%20Girl
We dallied under
Vine maples and sapling alders
Searched for lady slippers
But instead
Found blackberry riots and
Desiccated branches
An old skid road
Brought ghost ferns and
Hollows filled with
Skunk cabbage
While waves wrapped
Intricate lacings of weeds
'Round mule spinners
His cyanotic eyes
Were hard enough to make
The sun turn tail and
Tender enough to attract me
To his world of illusion

Awesome post. Will be getting one as well both my mother and grandmother survived breast cancer.
Being the best is not what always counts. What counts is always trying your best.
Remember who you are, and where you came from. That way you never get a big head.
May those that lost their lives in 9-11 RIP, for the things you did not many could do. You left so many behind so that you could save so few. For now we stand strong as one, and will not look back till the fight is done. (me)

You came up with a great post,
My aunt, who I am greatly involved with developed breast cancer about two years ago. She has put up a great fight, she was cleared and then rediagnosed. I feel for here!, Strong woman, she goes an talks to others about the miss fortune.
I have a pink Green Bay Packer hat, I caught a little flack from friends but family loved it. In fact packer fans at the game I went to, almost all the ladies commented to the fact that I had the pink hat and I explained.
I give my heart to those who suffer and I hope everyone else will not have to deal with that pain.

There is also a Canadian country singer called Rick Tippi who has a song called "Keeping The Faith" that is about a women with breast cancer. Part of the money from each cd with that song on it goes to Canadian breast cancer research. The only way those of us in the states can get his cds is to go to his web site and order them. The main lyrics are "yesterday is history, tomorrow is mystery, today is a gift that's why it's called the presnent". It's a great song for anyone that has cancer or ever fought it. I try to live my life by those words. I can't change what happened but everyday that I wake up I thank God for the gift that I am alive to enjoy the day.
The guy I'm with doesn't care how I look he loves me for myself. OK it helps that he's a butt guy and not a boob guy.
