Time Changes Tonight-Spring Forward
Just a reminder to all, tonight turn your clocks forward 1 hour. This year everything seems to be early. Usually the time change is in April, but this year it is pushed back to tonight.
So don't forget tonight to Spring Forward one hour.

Yea, this is gonna be real interesting at work tonight. No clue what happens up here with computers and stuff. I was told it was all automatic but I tend to believe that if it can go wrong, it will.

I work 8 hours tonight, but get paid for 9!

For us ,whoever is working graves tonight has to use an hour of their own comp time to make up the hour. I am not looking forward to getting up at 3am UGH! I already changed all my clocks to get to bed on time. I hope CAD isn't screwey tomorrow. Last thing we need!

I'm all for energy efficiency, but I don't like having to change the time twice a year. It just increases the likelihood of people getting confused and being late to things. And some evidence actually suggests that daylight savings time increases energy usage rather than decreasing it. These days electric lights are not the most energy-consuming parts of our lifestyle. When parts of Indiana that previously did not practice Daylight Savings Time switched to it, their energy usage increased: "Having the entire state switch to daylight-saving time each year, rather than stay on standard time, costs Indiana households an additional $8.6 million in electricity bills. They conclude that the reduced cost of lighting in afternoons during daylight-saving time is more than offset by the higher air-conditioning costs on hot afternoons and increased heating costs on cool mornings."
