All Animal Lovers, Read this Thread!!
I think this is a very worthy cause and want to spread it to as many people as possible.

donates food to shelter dogs. All you have to do is click the purple box that says "Click here to give - It's free!"
They are able to do this through sponsorships. The sponsors give them money based on the number of clicks they receive. The money is then given to shelters to feed dogs waiting for a new home.

On a side note, I urge all of you looking for a new dog, to check out your local shelter. So many great, obedient, loving dogs are sitting at shelters waiting for a family. They need a home and will give you years of love in return.

I got my dog from Petfinders.com they post pets in shelters all over the country. Mine happened to be in a foster home, some shelters are so over crowded they foster out the animals to people who can provide short term housing for them. You can enter the breed, age, and some other info and get exactly what you are looking for and they are all from shelters. It's a great site and has every possible animal you could be looking for. They are all non-profit places and most only ask for donations.

And Mack..I love PetFinder....great site. My foster dogs are up on the site and it has helped us adopt quite a few out.
