Easter egg hunts?
Anyone participating in Easter egg hunts? Or have all they all been canceled this year due to the high mortality rate among Easter bunnies?

I don't think I've ever been on an Easter egg hunt, but it sounds fun.

The grandkids hunted Easter eggs over here today.
But honestly, Jenna, how can you grow up without an Easter egg hunt? It's not even church-related, it's just a way for kids to get candy.

Jenna I go hunting the eggs every year because the Easter bunny is never far from its eggs and they make a hell of Rabbit stew!!

We've had one every year since my kids were born, and we still have one! They are 19 and 24, and my oldest Daughter's husband participates as well. Contrary to what PDawg says, you're never too old for Easter!

I have for the past several years been the organizer of an easter egg hunt for the children and grandchildren of the deputies from my Department.
This year I stuffed about 700 eggs in addition to the pre-filled eggs I bought and other prizes and snack I put out.
It was a fun time but I am glad this was my last year of putting it together.

For many years I was the Easter bunny for picture taking and the egg hunt at a police precinct in Detroit and since I've moved here have occasionally worn the costume for some community groups' egg hunts and to give a few children a private audience with the Easter bunny.

Well I'm glad to hear some Easter Bunnies managed to survive being run over, eaten by dogs, and hunted for meat!

I'm not sure how I missed out the Easter Egg hunts as a child. Maybe it was because I didn't participate in any activities outside of school, and my schools didn't organize them (maybe they didn't want to offend kids who didn't believe in the Easter Bunny?) Also I lived in some high crime neighborhoods so maybe the Easter Bunny didn't want to go into them for fear of ending up like the Easter Bunnies in some of the pictures posted here yesterday!
