If you could see one band/artist perform live....
regardless of time constraints, who would it be?

It's a toss-up between Buffett and Pink Floyd. Chesney would be in the mix but I have seen him last two times in New Orleans.

Oh, if we are going to include dead artists or groups, the original Lynyrd Skynyrd.

I'd like to see Harry Chapin perform, but that ain't gonna happen.
I hope Pink Floyd does one more tour, because I want to see them again.

I was reading this thinking of all the bands I've seen...
Journey, Night Ranger, .38 Special, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allman Brothers, Molly Hatchet, Marshall Tucker, America, AC/DC, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Aldo Nova, The Romantics, The Kinks, Van Halen (with DLR), Sammy Hagar (before VH), Extreme, REO Speedwagon, Prince, Hootie and the Blowfish (don't laugh, they're really good live), Rush, Triumph, Warrant
I can't even remember them all, but I'd have to say that Van Halen put on the best show, both from the standpoint of something enjoyable to watch, and from a musician's viewpoint. I'd love to have seen thim with Sammy, but I quit going to marijuanafests a long time ago.

I saw SRV a couple of times. I skipped him a third time around because he was supposed to be touring with his brother Jimmy soon after, but he died before that happened.

Garth Brooks. His live performances are supposed to kick ass!
Or Sara Evans....if I was in the front row and she was on a high stage, wearing a short skirt
