I hate this weather
So, I'm currently on my three days off, and I took an extra two days off to do some spring cleaning, clean the house, truck ,garage, work on the yard, plant a garden, etc, etc....and it has done nothing but rain since I have been off (this is my third of five days off)
And the worst part? The next to days are looking wet too.

But if it were still winter, you wouldn't be able to plant a garden! You could come out here and clean my house and wash my car, if you like. The weather is mild today.

how could you not love this weather??
I am in the same boat as you...good week to stay in and watch some movies. I was planning on getting the cycle ready for summer but this weather is not helping.

I much prefer winter. I hate rain, absolutely hate it. I'd pick a blizzard over a downpour any day.
Yeah, but if it were still winter, I wouldn't have taken extra days off work to plant a garden. That's my gripe. I've got 16 hours of burned up comp time that I can't use now cuz everything is soggy and wet.

Nothing but rain here in Iowa too. I hope none of us get any flooding this year.

Not real thrilled here either.
I go back to work next Thursday, and this weekend was the first race weekend for my brother and I's race team. It was going to be the only one I could make for more than a month and they went ahead and cancelled due to the rain coming."Like" us on facebook! https://www.facebook.com/pages/Offic...93147194083228

Everything within 50 miles is cancelled. Looks like I will be listening on the radio while I'm at work the next few weeks.
I will be pissed if it turns out like practice last week where they cancelled based on the forecast, we got just enoug rain to make the track nice and the weather turned gorgeous."Like" us on facebook! https://www.facebook.com/pages/Offic...93147194083228

My bride has had spring cleaning fever for the past three weeks and it has led to some terrible discussions. This weekend it is going to be 90+ arond here and she is going to want me outside doing some yard stuff! Wrong!!!! Ain't gonna happen. That is why I have air conditioning and, besides, the "Master's" is on this weekend.

The Masters is going on roughly 20 miles from here. All our hotels are booked and you can't even think about going out to dinner in the evenings, but during the day it's just about a ghost town. Kids get off school for Master's week, not Easter week, and there is no lunch crowd to speak of - they're all in Augusta.
Oh, the weather here has been gorgeous and all the flowers are blooming.

People actually cancel plans because of rain?

I'm extremely glad summer is upon us but the weather cycle here is: Gets warm, rains/storms like crazy, gets cold, repeat. That gets old quick.

I like the rain, it can be so peaceful and relaxing. I love a good T-Storm, watch the lightening, listen to the thunder. Plus when it rains, for some reason I get the best sleep, leave the window open a crack. I love summer storms, sit on teh sun porch with some sun tea. (I think I need a t.v. on teh sun porch) Plus the rain is a reason to stay in and have a lazy day to relax, play with the kids, watch a movie and not feel guilty about it
Somebody Please, what the hell is that smell?

I love to be camping when there's a thunder storm and hear the rain pounding on the roof while watching the lightening. When I'm in Oklahoma or Texas visiting, my friends think I'm crazy because I love the thunder storms there.

I like to stand outside in the rain, stick my tongue out, and jump up and down, patting my mouth, and making weird noises.

I LOVE the rainy days. Much like Shoestring.
I also love those gloomy overcast days. Man them are some beautiful days!
