If you could go back to college....
If you could go back to college.....and had the time....what, if any, classes would you take? Could be work related to help you advance in your career, could be something just for fun, or something you have always been interested in learning.

Criminal Forensics. Gonna sign up soon...have 3 more classes for my BA and then on to the next degree.
So far my British and American Lit and Veterinary nursing degrees seem to be only good for Jeopardy points now-a-days.
At least I have other stuff to fall back on when I retire.

I never could afford to go to college. If I could I would have probably taken a business course and theology.

Well I guess this doesn't apply to me since I'm currently in college and about to receive my bachelor's degree. However, I am thinking about going for my Master's....what do you guys think?

Next step would be law school for me, without a doubt.
Never going to happen though...

We dallied under
Vine maples and sapling alders
Searched for lady slippers
But instead
Found blackberry riots and
Desiccated branches
An old skid road
Brought ghost ferns and
Hollows filled with
Skunk cabbage
While waves wrapped
Intricate lacings of weeds
'Round mule spinners
His cyanotic eyes
Were hard enough to make
The sun turn tail and
Tender enough to attract me
To his world of illusion

I could see you as a judge, issuing countybear rants with your sentences: E.g. "You gave testimony which has proven to be completely fabricated. You, sir, are the most weak-minded, slimy, gutless, and intellectually and morally bankrupt criminal I have ever had the misfortune of seeing in my courtroom. I sentence you to be horsewhipped and Fed-Ex'ed to Guantanamo Bay!"

College was a waste of time. It has more to do with delaying adulthood for 4+ years than it does with actually educating anyone. If I knew then what I know now I would have gone into the military before going into LE. I have no desire to climb the ranks here so I have no need for my degree.

Just need a couple more courses to complete my degree but it isn't going to be anytime soon. However, the just cause I want to take them courses would be in Large Animal Disease and Treatment. Meaning, horses of course, it is alot cheaper to know how yourself than to have to call a vet.
My dad, I miss him every day.

In my department, we alternate from days to evenings and back every 4 weeks. I want to go back to school and am trying to swap with somebody who also wants to so our shift can be consistent. I started off working on an engineering degree, but I just don't want to be an engineer. I have enough math and science but lack 3 Humanities classes of being able to graduate with my Associates. I'm thinking of an art history, and 2 philosophy classes. If I hit the lottery, it will be lots of History, Astronomy, Music, and Spanish. Stuff I wish I knew more about but I have too many hobbies to learn about now.

Amen to that sister friend! With just my veterinary nursing degree I have saved a ton of money doing things for myself. I have stapled wounds, sutured stuff, checked eyes for ulcers and treated, treated abscesses and punctures etc. Really helpful when currently I have 11 horses and saving money is a Godsent! Although I think one is finally finding her "forever" home after being rehabilitated..so I am thrilled. Only 5 more to go.....
