Got his first book published! GO RANDY!

Lived down the hall from him in the dorms, and got to be pretty decent friends for a while there. Lost touch as people tend to do, and then I find this out! Very cool stuff...I just ordered a copy; I'll be curious to see what his mind has dreamed up

Oh, and I just remembered something from back in the day. We were playing IM football and he got hit by the opposing team (even though it wasn't tackle football, lol)

I walked up to him and he had this look on his face...this..."oh shit," look. His thumb was dislocated and bent backwards at the bottom joint.

He looked at me, looked at his hand...and pushed it back in himself...

I just ordered it today (and just heard about it today). Funny how things work...I was trying to meet up with him a few weeks ago when I was passing thru his area for work. I knew he liked to write and *wanted* to publish a book, but that was from back in 2000 or so when I lived down the hall from him.

And the look on my face when i saw him put his thumb back in...pure shock.

Very cool dude though, I'm happy for him.
