I'm moving to Iowa
So I just got a job offer for station manager for my airline in Dubuque, IA. So to the cornfields I go
Now I just gotta find out which state to live in, as Dubuque is right by IL, IA, and WI. Which state should I move to?Alpha Phi Sigma Alum - Alpha Delta Chapter

Iowa is better than Illinois by far. Especially if you're into guns.
Iowa and Wisconsin is a wash. I like them both.

One thing to check on is taxes,, state income, sales tax, property tax..
My son lives in WA and it chaps my ass when he tells me about taxes there compared to Kansas.

I don't know if it even applies to you (CCW or not) but WI does NOT have allow non-leo's to carry concealed and I don't believe Illinois does either.

The Wisconsin Supreme court a year or two back overturned a conviction for carrying concealed saying the law was unconstitutional. I also sent an email the WAG when I saw he wrote a brief asking the US Supreme Court to not side with Washington DC. THERE IS HOPE YET!!! Originally Posted by Five-0

That is a possiblity. I sometimes get my gun friendly areas mixed up in my state.
Was it www.iowacarry.org if so, that is a good site. They are trying to make Iowa a shall issue state.
