Louisiana Weather
By the grace of God neither Mav or I were home when it hit....
the tornado that is.....about 9 AM today....
I had been to the Dr Wednesday ....And was really wishing to stay home esp since it was raining so hard N the wind was awful...but duty bellowed N I went...
Mav had routine check up at his Drs about 18 miles south....for 9:45...he left early to drop some jambalaya off for my Dad.....
Well, tonight I am at my Dad's who is unscathed and HAS power....Mav is home with Babycat, 2 generators and doing his protect the property thang...
Mav got home several hours before me....between detailed accounts from him N my cousin...I thought I was prepared...NOOOOOOOT
Well, I got the courage to come home after work N it looked just like the aftermath of kATRINA
...blue tarps on roofs where trees had fallen R shingles were blown away....trees on cars....a carport "removed" from a house N shambles....fences down...and trees split in two everywhere...hell YES HELL...I didnt think there were that many trees left after big K.....
Good news
: as far as I know, no one was injured, we didnt loose total communication...cell service was erractic but workable...and power is s'pose to be back on tonight R tommorrow by noon

Today the trees downed by this storm were cut N lined up for pick-up and tomorrow...the LAST tree standing about a 10000000000000 ft
tall Pine will be cut....end of trees in our yard..none..nada...zilch...zeroooo oooO even
(only have to worry
about those on the vacant lot behind our privacy fence NOW)
