Memorial Day
If you want to read about real courage and sacrifice, read the story on MSNBC about Marine Sgt. Merlin German. If it doesn't bring a tear to your eye, I don't know what will. Thank God for the brave young men and women like him. As an "Old Fart," I take comfort that there are good young people like this that will keep our country going, no matter what.

Sgt. Merlin German, 22.
(forget my tag on the bottom for this one.)For the morning will come. Brightly will it shine on the brave and true, kindly upon all who suffer for the cause, glorious upon the tombs of heroes. Thus will shine the dawn.
