Drunk Chicks

The bars all let out downtown at 0200 and I went down to assist the one officer on foot there. I brought my rookie.

I have little tolerance for drunks and don't suffer them well. My rook just got out of the Marines and is about 6-2. He's pretty buff and a bit of a pretty boy. We're talking to the beat officer and three drunk chicks come up and ask to take their picture with a hot cop. I wanted to continue the conversation so I pointed at the rookie and said, "He's your man."

Yeah, I threw him under the bus.

But they insisted that we were all hot cops. I know that's bull because me and the beat officer are older and bald.

I told them they were wearing beer goggles but they weren't listening. They just had to get their pictures with all of us.

I'll let you know when we show up on YouTube or whatever.

Having some fun with the drunk Badge Bunnies, I see. (at their expense, of course) I trust they got a free trip to the Big House? Or maybe a drunk in public cite?

I sure hope they weren't thinking of getting behind the wheel.

I bet there are many questions that the general public asks of you that you absolutely can't stand.

Yes, unfortunately, some of us civilians have absolutely no class when it comes to talking to the police. I cringe every time I hear it because I know a verbal ass-whooping is about to take place.

Whenever I hear the "I didn't do it!" line, I laugh a fake laugh and say "Man, no matter how many times I hear that in a day, it just keeps getting funnier."

Then usually the would-be comedian realizes how unoriginal it is and realizes he sounds like a douche.

Ever check for warrants on people who said "I didn't do it" as a joke, discover that they actually had warrants, and arrest them because, contrary to their joke, they actually did "do it"?

Did anyone ever hear the story about the Dallas pizza parlor owner who used to make a big deal about how much he LOVED cops everytime they walked in his door, and lavished free pizzas upon them? Best continued in the Squad Room

Why did they want to call attention to themselves if they really did "do it"? Or were they thinking that if they joked about it, you would think they had nothing to hide? Guess it didn't work!
