Cell phone help

A few days ago I lost text messaging capabilities, and rather abruptly at that. I tried shutting it off for a while, battery out over night, Master Clear/Master Reset and now while I did lose all my pictures etc etc I still can't text message. Other people in the same area can, and I even went so far as to find someone with an identical phone (even to the color but that was by chance) using the same provider. They all can text, I can't. And no RSA, I won't give you my number so you can 'see if you can fix it'.

It makes outgoing and receives incoming calls, but when I try to text, it will tell me that it sent the message, but no one receives them and I don't receive any that are sent to me. Even when I sent them from my phone.

Get in touch with your carrier, they will give you credit for any msg not completed and will walk you through fixing it. I've had to do it a few times, takes maybe half hour tops. And oh ya, don't call them with your cellphone, use a landline or someone elses phone. They may need you to do stuff with your phone but they can access your phone and fix it that way

That's not going to be easy...they won't deal with me, as I am on my brother's plan, he has to do it. But he's 300 miles away. Nice.

lol tell them you are your brother how will they know otherwise, all you want to do is fix your phone not do some dasterdly deed or rip them off.

roflmao AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!! ... I mean, I'm sorry to hear that. Maybe now you'll actually pay attention to the people who have driven all the way up to visit you in the middle of freakkin nowhere and are in the same room as you. Moreover they are trying to engage you in some sort of conversation/entertainment/halo game/ baseball/ etc. I think its God's way of saying what we have been telling you for months, either that or someone with access ? turned off your capabilities. Either, way, I think its hilarious...

Yeah its not so funny when you have traveled 350 miles through a raging blizzard to keep him company in his desolate town and the best he can muster is a not so polite nod in between annoying beeping noises as he furiously pecks away as if his life depends on him sending 3074 tm's a day...

lol, that is the only way to get ahold of him. His Yahoo IM is always idle as is his myspace IM.

Have you tried placing it on the ground in front of you, take off all your clothes and dance around it naked and roll around in the mud? did it work for you? I just wanted to see if you'd do it...

if you have att you can get on the website and enter a chat room and talk to suppor techs that will fix your problem. I've been there a couple times and they have been able to talk me through fixing what minor problems i was having.

That's cause I always leave it logged in. I used to have it set up to never go idle cause no one would talk to me. Doesn't mean i'm not by the computer, just not using it.

that's strange...I haven't gotten any. Maybe I should start signing it out when i'm not around. we've lost power and internet several times in the past few days.
