What's your favorite breakfast meal?
So, what's your favorite breakfast foods and favorite place to eat it?(at home, in a restaurant, poolside, Etc.)
Mine is the 5 star special at the Waffle House. Coffee, orange juice, scrambled eggs, grits and a waffle, well done.

I don't usually eat breakfast. In the winter I'll get piping hot French vanilla cappuccino from Swiss Farms, and in the summer I get a med. vanilla iced coffee w/ reg sugar & extra cream. On good days, Dunkin Donuts gets it right, but McDonald's usually knows how I like it because I have my $2.11 ready every morning, so they've been pretty good.
And since I do physical therapy 3x/wk for my back and neck, the last thing I want is food in my system since I go in early to have the therapists torture me and do my workout.
Coffee, then water works for me.

I don't usually eat breakfast, but once in a while after a weekend shift we would all go to a local restaurant, Big Pine Coffee Shop or to The Cracked Egg Cafe and I would usually get pancakes, sausages and lots of coffee with even more coffee, followed with coffee, cream no sugar
My dad, I miss him every day.

Either the Colorado omelette or the Country omelette, depending on my mood. Oh, at I-HOP.
Either one comes with three good-sized buttermilk pancakes (covered in melted butter and warm maple syrup) and hash browns on the side (usually a whole LOT of hash browns), and fresh coffee.
They surprised me one time. Got my order but thought they forgot the hash browns. Called the waitress over to remind her, and she advised me that they put the hash browns INSIDE the omelette. That was different - AND gooood. (Wondered why the omelette was about the size of a football. Thought at first they had given me about a six-egg omelette.)
Dayum, now I'm hungry. Guess I'll get some breakfast on my way to work tomorrow morning. Won't need lunch after all that though.

3 or 4 mornings a week I tell my wife that I've got to go to the PO, Lowe's or Home Depot but my first stop is always the Waffle House, as IMO their coffee is a lot better than Starbucks or any I can brew here at home. Oh yes, I drive by the PO and go in these other places but more to look than to buy.

She asked me why do you go to the PO so often, when the mail carrier comes by the house every day? I told her WELLLLLL!!! I do use a lot of stamps, Ya know.
(a book of stamps will last me a month) I've got to think up some other more plausible excuses and fast.

I don't eat breakfast much at all but when I do I prefer thick cut, rind-on bacon, grits with butter, eggs over easy, and dry toast.

I would rather eat breakfast then any other meal of the day. Favorite is fresh, hot bread (either sour dough french or some multi-grain) with butter. Crusty with a soft middle. YUM. Either that or with melted brie cheese on it after it has baked in the oven and you can just spread it on. Doesn't matter where I eat it..tastes the same...but outside on a wrap around porch on a cool morning with green tea. Sweet.

Great minds think alike, thats my favorite, too. With extra cheese. Sometimes with sliced Avocados, depending on my mood. Hash browns have to be a golden brown but not too crispy, extra butter for the pancakes - they never give me enough and instead of coffee, I usually have raspberry iced tea or hot herbal tea. Those pancakes are HUGE!!! Of course, at IHOP.
