I am now certified in PPCT from PPCT Management!!
100% on the practical exam.
1 wrong out of 50 on the written exam.
I'm sore as hell and resting up this week, that's for sure.

Congrats!!!
I said it once...I've said a thousand times....Pain is the universal teacher!
What the hell is that?? :D
What's PPCT? :noidea:
Pressure Point Control Tactics. Its pressure points wrapped into defensive tactics, handcuffing, controls, takedowns, etc.
My sister was a psych nurse with the VA years ago and can do pressure point control tactics when patients were violent. The woman can put the hurt on you with just a knuckle on your mastoid bone.
Bet that hurt!
Pressure point tactics are actually taught at the KS academy :D.
Good job on your tests!
Congrats!
My sister just finished her nursing degree and is now working as an ER nurse. She demonstrated one pressure point move on me and put me on the floor FAST. :hail:Quote:

Man I never took as much ibuprofen or used as much ice as I did during those two weeks in the academy :D My knees were like grapefruits from hitting the floor lol. Ah man... wide open for a joke there ;)
Right now my left shoulder and left side of my neck are REALLY SORE from hitting the mats on takedowns. That part sucked.
I still have marks on my wrists from where my partner was learing to handcuff properly.
Man we didn't get mats. They had fine quality mats rolled up against the walls, but we did our throws on concrete. Not cool.
