Happy 4th of July
I wanted to wish everyone a happy 4th of July. Have fun, enjoy your family and friends, and for those working today stay very safe.
We sometimes forget why our holidays exist and think only of having time off. Stop for a moment and remember our history and why we celebrate this holiday, remember our troops at home and overseas and remember why they are where they are, freedom isn't free.
To all who strive to keep us safe at home on our streets, thank you. We appreciate the fact that while we will be enjoying this holiday, many of you will be working and not able to be with your loved ones. Again, thank you for what you do.
