Amazing what you trip across during research.
So I was trying to figure out WTH the mystery tool that's being auctioned off is, and tripped across this:

Y'know... I know I've seen that damn thing somewhere, but I haven't had any luck digging up where. It looks a little like a dovetailing jig -- but I know that's not right. I'm also kind of thinking towards some sort of cleaning tool...
