One month left!

HELLLLL YEAAAA!!!! It's almost over, I cannot wait!

Graduation is April 3rd at 6:00 PM. Holt HS in Wentzville for those that want to come cheer for me

. We have 3 more full weeks of class, then Monday the 27th we have our Final Inspection and Final exam, and on Friday the 31 we have our Missouri POST examination. I believe we get the grades from both of those exams on the same day. Also, some of you will be pleased to know that March 10th will be another...fun day. OC Day. And yes, there will be digital video recording of me being sprayed and I'll try and get that to you all ASAP. The last few classes we have are OC, Traffic, Sex Offense Investigation, Probation and Parole, Financial Planning, Water Rescue, First Responder, Robbery Investigation, and Drivers Training. We also have a Family Night where our family's get to hear about things like, the stresses of the job, suicide rates, infidelity rates, etc. That should be a fun night.

Today we had our Final Physical Fitness Test. To make a long story short, I surprised the hell out of myself. I really need to do better still. But I got my personal best time and my best time on record, 12:51 (14:36 is the limit). That was with a little bit of walking, some bad sinus alergy, and running on a windy ass day that probably took 15-20 seconds off my run and contributed to me needing to feel like I had to walk. Yea...I'll blame it all on that

. Hey...least I didn't come in last like I normally do. Two people were at 13:15 and a guy way in the back came in at 14:25ish. Our last run I got 13:15 and finished out ahead of about 5-6 people.

As far as a job, I've pretty much decided that for now I will wait it out for my top choice of a department. I have an app in somewhere else, but I don't think the process for that job will begin until around when my #1 choice of a department will be starting up a process. The most I think I will wait will be 4-5 months. The processes around here seem to go a lot faster. One department that I know will be hiring in the next 6 months (they plan to be hiring 10 officers over the next 5 years at most), went through it's process in about 4-5 weeks.

And thennnnnn....Either April 1st or March 31st I'll be getting married

. Date isn't set because there has been a mix up with the church, but damn I wanna get married on April Fool's Day

Good luck and enjoy the time you have with all the guys and girls in your class. Once you get out on the roads life is totally different. Stay positive your almost on the other side
