Anyone remember the goat man?

Anyone remember meeting Ches McCartney the goat man? Over a period of 20-25 years I probably met him 4-5 times when traveling around the state. Ches traveled the country with a herd of goats pulling boxlike wagons alongside the road, with no particular place to go and no set time table. I almost killled him, and there's no telling how many of his goats, one time in southwest Georgia when I topped a hill in Chattahoochee county and met him and his goats in the middle of the road. Luckily for him, his goats and me I wasn't driving fast and was able to stop in time. In today's traffic Ches wouldn't last a week without being injured or killed.
Someone told me he saw Ches milk a goat one time, drink part of it then give the rest to a sick kid in one of the wagons.
The thing I remember most about meeting old Ches and his goats was the overwhelming odor.

I used to graze with a herd of goats, but then the goat man came along and separated the goats from the sheep!

It wasn't the goat man Jenna, It was the Man upstairs.
