probably not. No one else in the world cares about us or our culture lol its us that are obsessed with others.

Ah, the question should be why do Americans get tattoos written in Chinese Characters?

It is not like they could read them, nor could the majority of any one else in the US. I guess they like that Chinese Characters look like some ancent meaningful! hieroglyphis

I just don't get it!

As far as the Chinese getting english saying tattooes, most likely not, they like a million character alphabet. Besides, their gov't probably would frown upon it and who in China would want to do that!

my question is.... them characters everyone seems to get getting tatted, how many of them really mean something other than what the tattoo parlor says. place says the symbol means strong but really it means dumbass or something lol lol lol

I am thinking it all started with one famous person getting one and of course we as humans' have to follow and jump on that band wagon. I don't have one, but have always thought of getting one, but couldn't think of what I wanted.............maybe a chinese saying, tatooed in English.....................
