1. Wrong
2. Couldn't do it again, and they know it as well as most of the rest of the country
3. Bama got blown out, so they would not have added to any form of competition against just about anyone. Texas played well, as did OU and Florida. Just because one team lost, does not mean it was not a good game. Believe it or not, under the new rules, one team must win and one team must lose.

Man..I would seriously give my left arm for Texas to play o.u. RIGHT NOW on a neutral field. I'm not saying it would be a blowout, but Texas is a superior team and would win that game 9 or 10 times. But we'll just have to wait for the Cotton Bowl in October 2009 for Colt McCoy to cement his legendary status as a 4th Quarter Machine in the halls of Texas Football history.

Yeah, cause I want to see a bunch of millionaires ducking out of bounds, bitching about conspiracies that keep them from getting the ball, and the dumbest form of overtime ever imagined.
On another note, Auburn's new coach has surprised a lot of people, including me, with some great hires. Hopefully that will translate onto the field.
I will give the NFL credit for one thing, at least they have a playoff.

National Signing Day 09 is upon us. I predict LSU and BAMA #1 and #2 respectively by the end of the day. The SEC as a whole is netting a boat load of talent.

Oh s*@t! My beloved Cardinals freakin' suck this year. We just got beat by North Texas at home. The defense was atrocious. There will be no magical run this year. Only good thing is that because of last year, there will be a bunch of BSU games on tv this year. I can watch us lose from the comfort of my couch. All they can hope for now is one good upset. Then again they were picked to finish only 5th is their division of the conference. Oh well, I guess I have to pin all my hopes on Notre Dame (a scary thought) and Virginia Tech. I do like Florida though.

He has been trying to get down to about 355 so he can be a three down nose guard. Even when he was over 400 he could dunk. All of last year no team could block him with just one lineman. His job is to take up at least two lineman and free up our LBs (which as a unit our LB corps is the best in the nation). I was really surprised Terrance did not go pro after last year though. He is a beast and will make some serious bank at the next level in a 3-4 defense minded team.
