That was the national championship game.

"It's a great life. You risk your skin catching killers and the juries turn them loose so they can come back and shoot at you again. If your honest , your poor your whole life. And , In the end , you wind up dying all alone on some dirty street. For what? For nothing. For a tin star."
Far from being a handicap to command, compassion is the measure of it. For unless one values the lives of his soldiers and is tormented by their ordeals , he is unfit to command.

I disagree. I think ND and Bama are very similar and match up well. I think it could be a very close game. Georgia actually scared me some because of the vertical game that I think is what ND has the hardest time with. It will be interesting to see how the long layoff affects each team. I think it will help Bama more than ND, especially with getting healthy. As much as I want ND to win, I think it will be a tough defensive battle that Bama edges out 17-10 or 17-13. For Irish fans, I think the game will feel a lot like the Stanford game, except perhaps the outcome. Perhaps whichever team's defensive line gives out first will lose. It seems both Bama and ND like to just keep running until the defensive line finally wears down. But then again, it may come down to which team can be more successful in working in the passing game to stretch out the D. I'm really looking forward to watching this game. I actually picked my new rotation for 2013 so that I'd have the night off to watch the game.

It is as much as I hate to admit it. Even more so that both titles were by teams with one loss. I don't think you can give saban a month to prepare for a game. He's deadly. Though sadly this time you can combine that with another sad fact. The ND team that showed up to the title game wasn't the one that rolled into Norman. It was the team that barely escaped Pitt. Sadly I think Kelly knew going in, with how he changed the ND game plan.
